The Best Rehabilitation Technology for the Best Recovery

Our state-of-the-art equipment supports the best possible outcomes for patients and families

Our rehabilitation patients benefit from access to world-class technology designed to accelerate their recovery process. These advanced systems offer important advantages in terms of patient comfort and safety, as well as precise control of movement and intensity.

Zero G Gait Trainers

A supportive system for regaining walking and balancing skills.

Our rehabilitation technology includes Zero G Gait Trainers that provide dynamic support as patients practice walking, balancing, climbing stairs, and sit-to-stand maneuvers. If sensors detect a sudden change in the body’s position, a sturdy harness lowers the patient gently down.

HydroWorx Pool

A state-of-the art facility for aquatic rehabilitation therapy.

Many patients benefit from aquatic rehabilitation therapy because the water provides a gentle environment that supports much of an individual’s weight. Our state-of-the-art aquatic center includes a HydroWorx pool that has high-performance features, such as variable depths, a moveable floor, an underwater treadmill, resistance jet technology, and computer and camera systems.

Foot Drop System

Improving patient mobility through electrical nerve stimulation.

Our Bioness L300 Foot Drop System helps many patients with neurological conditions to walk more naturally with increased speed and improved balance. It delivers programmed, low-level electrical stimulation to activate the nerves and muscles that lift the foot, helping patients regain their mobility. Our team also uses the H200 Wireless System to activate the nerves and muscles of the hand.

Transitional Apartments

To enable patients and their families to prepare for life at home while having full clinical support.

Prior to discharge, patients and their caregivers can stay in our hospital’s “transitional apartments,” where they can practice safe skills, such as transfers to the bath and navigating household hazards, in a real-life environment.

The home-like setting has a regular bed, living room, kitchen, and bathroom to promote personal dignity and provide an opportunity for the patient to improve his or her functioning.

This experience helps patients and their caregivers transition together and learn how to prepare for what they can expect at home. If they need assistance or guidance, our rehabilitation staff is available to help, which provides an additional level of reassurance as they prepare for their return to the real world.
