Adult and Pediatric Outpatient Services
UHealth Jackson Rehabilitation Care offers a full spectrum of outpatient rehabilitation programs for both adult and pediatric patients.
The outpatient setting provides ongoing medical care, education, and emotional support to former patients as well as individuals from throughout the community who need specialized rehabilitation services.
Outpatient Treatment and Recovery
UHealth Jackson Rehabilitation Care offers a full continuum of care for our patients, including outpatient services to help adults, teenagers, and children regain their daily activities.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of therapies will I need?
Our rehabilitation specialists work closely with your physicians to develop a personalized program to support your recovery. That might include one or more types of therapy.
I have been discharged from the hospital – can I still get rehab services?
Yes. We offer a continuum of care for our patients, including inpatient and outpatient services to help adults, teenagers, and children regain their daily activities.
How long does it take to recover?
That depends on the severity of your condition, the extent of your treatment and the nature of your rehabilitation program. Many patients are able to return to their daily lives in just a few weeks.
Do I need to be a hospital patient to receive outpatient services?
No. We offer rehabilitation services to the entire community, and not just to patients in our inpatient units.
